Privacy Policy

Cazimi (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is an offline Mercury retrograde calendar for iOS. We respect your privacy. This policy describes what data we use and how we handle it.

Data we collect and use

• Data you provide in the app: Journal entries, check-ins, planner progress, notification preferences, and widget state are stored only on your device (and in the app’s App Group for the widget). We do not send this content to our servers.
• App analytics: The app records feature and purchase-flow events, such as opening the paywall, a purchase result, or adding a widget. A copy stays on your device for a debug summary. The same events are sent to Google Analytics through Firebase. They include the event name and a few labels, such as the Mercury phase or product id. They do not include journal text, your name, email, an advertising identifier, or precise location.
• Website visits: Cazimi uses Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate page and link measurements, and Google Analytics via Firebase for page views and App Store link clicks. Vercel does not use cookies. Google Analytics sets a cookie and receives the page you open and which App Store link you click. The site does not send your name, email, or journal content.
• Subscriptions: If you subscribe to Cazimi Premium, payment and subscription status are handled by Apple and RevenueCat. We receive only whether your subscription is active (e.g. to unlock premium features). We do not store your payment details. See Apple’s and RevenueCat’s privacy policies for their practices.
• Support: If you contact us (e.g. at makrachy@gmail.com), we use your email and message content only to respond. We do not add you to marketing lists without your consent.

Data we do not collect

We do not collect your name, precise location, journal content, or any account login. The app works without creating an account. Astronomical and calendar data is computed on-device or from public sources.

Third parties

We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions, Vercel Web Analytics to measure aggregate website visits, and Google Analytics (Firebase) to measure page views and App Store clicks on this site and feature events in the iOS app. RevenueCat may collect device and purchase-related data as described in its Privacy Policy. Vercel describes its processing in its Privacy Policy. Google describes its processing in its Privacy Policy and in the Firebase privacy information. Apple’s App Store and related services are governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Your rights

You can turn off notifications in the app or in iOS Settings. You can delete the app at any time; data stored on your device (including in the App Group) is removed with it. For subscription cancellation, use iOS Settings → Subscriptions. For questions or requests about your data, contact us at makrachy@gmail.com.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
