What is a Venus retrograde?
Venus turns retrograde about every 584 days, when Earth and Venus line up on the same side of the Sun. Seen from Earth, Venus slows, stops, and moves westward against the stars for 41 to 43 days. In the middle of each retrograde Venus passes between Earth and the Sun: the inferior conjunction, the Venus cazimi. Around it Venus moves from the evening sky to the morning sky.
