Station dates
The five moments of the March 2025 Mercury cycle. Mercury stations retrograde in Aries and direct in Pisces, so the cycle is named for both signs. The retrograde lasts 23 days.
| Phase | UTC | Your time | Degree |

The cazimi is the inferior conjunction: Mercury passes between Earth and the Sun, in the middle of the retrograde. Mercury is within 17′ of the Sun from 16:10 to 23:27 UTC on March 24, 2025. How these are timed.
Signs and degrees
Mercury retraces 12°45′ of the zodiac: it stations retrograde at 9°35′ Aries and backs up to 26°50′ Pisces before it stations direct. On the way back it leaves Aries and returns to Pisces, so this retrograde touches two signs. Mercury first reaches 26°50′ Pisces on March 1, 2025, 14 days before the station, and clears 9°35′ Aries again on April 26, 2025, 19 days after it turns direct: 56 days on these degrees in all. The cazimi falls on day 10 of 23, at 4°25′ Aries.
The last Mercury retrograde station in Aries before this one was April 1, 2024 at 22:14 UTC, at 27°13′ Aries. The next one is March 26, 2031 at 00:44 UTC, at 19°45′ Aries. Since 1900, the closest earlier station to 9°35′ Aries came 125 years before, on March 15, 1900 at 13:21 UTC, at 9°10′ Aries, 0°25′ away.
What to do in each phase

|---|---|---|
| Pre-shadow | Mar 1, 2025 – Mar 15, 2025 | Finish launches, back up devices, confirm travel and contract details. |
| Retrograde | Mar 15, 2025 – Apr 7, 2025 | Review, revise, reconnect. Read the fine print before you sign. |
| Cazimi | Mar 24, 2025 · 19:48 | A short, clear window inside the retrograde: set one fresh intention. |
| Post-shadow | Apr 7, 2025 – Apr 26, 2025 | Relaunch what was paused and send the revised version. |
